Physics Reflection Project #4

I learned all about physics and I was able to do it hands on. I learned that it isn't always easy to work in a group especially when not everyone pulls there equal weight. I learned about how to build a steady support structure. One other thing that I learned was how to write notes on note cards instead of using a piece of paper. I also learned that you can't always rely on others to bring in materials.

I really liked this project because it was hands on and still educational. I liked it because I didn't have to sit down in the class room and I was able to learn on my own with guidance. I enjoyed working with my friend and how we were able to work together.

I would improve our project by making it longer and having more time to do that. I would have decorated it more and maybe chose a different theme. I really like our roller coaster but I think we could have done cooler things to it.

This project was awesome and wished I could do it every year. I'm really proud of our fudging awesome roller coaster.

Physics Reflection Project #3

I think we are ahead of lots of people and we have progressed a lot. I am a bit stressed because the project is due next week. Our roller coaster is quite neat so far. Our main structure has started to tip a little bit so we will have to fix it.

Since inertia causes objects to kep going the direction it already is going. Inertia effected our roller coaster because the marble kept flying off of the track and it was very annoying. We kept having to fix those parts by turning the tube more or putting cardboard toilet paper rolls.

Inertia has been really frustrating. Also making sure everyone can stay after school or come at lunch to work on the project is annoying. I'm nervous because were getting into crunch time and we have only worked together during class. I am normally the only one that stays after school so that is really frustrating. Another thing that has been frustrating is that when something doesn't work we get annoyed at our project and kind of give up and get fed up with the roller coaster.

We are making good progress with our project and I think we have all done well on our homework assignments and quizes.

Physics Project Reflection #2

The pros of tape is that it is really sticky depending on the kind of tape. But then again that could be a con because whenever we tape something and we have to take it off little parts of the thing we stuck it to comes off with the tape, especially if we tape it onto boxes. Another con of tape is that we use it up way to fast and we can't get more of the same color.

I think our progress is really slow because we can only get half of one thing done each class and we are still supporting our structure. Compared to some of the other groups I think we are doing very well and have managed our time well with homework and building.

I know that this actually doesn't happen but the other day Jessica (one of our teammates) wasn't looking at the roller coaster when we were trying it out and it didn't work very well but then we asked her to look because we couldn't tell what the problem was. We tried again and it worked and after that it kept on working.
